Rudyard Kipling (30 September 1865 -0 18 January 1936) was a famous English short-0story writer, novelist and poet. This book contains some of his famous novels and short-0stories. One of his memorable book is 'The Jungle Book'. It was published in 1874, and its sequel The Second Jungle Book came a year later during the time when Kipling was ensconced at Brattleboro in Vermont. He is the over-0indulged son of a millionaire. When he falls over-0board from an ocean liner, he is rescued by a Portuguese fisherman and, initially against his will, joins the crew. The Light that Failed follows the life of Dick Heldar, a painter who goes blind. The Story of the Gadsbys is written in dramatic form, consisting of eight short scenes. The book includes 15 short stories.
